ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Danyelle De Jong
Founder & CEO at Idea Illuminations
Danyelle believes that businesses and conscious capital ($) can challenge the status quo and solve pressing global problems. Through her 15 years of experience in private equity and business consulting, her practical experience helping launch and grow Satori Capital, and a passion for creating regenerative investment structures, Danyelle runs Idea Illuminations to explore the world's largest issues and hopefully solve them.
Before starting Idea Illuminations, Danyelle joined Satori Capital to disrupt the investing world. The firm now manages ~$2B and is a pioneer and leader in sustainable investing for superior returns. She was the 4th employee and remains the youngest person and only woman to ever serve on the Investment Team, where she spent six years. In addition to her Investment Team responsibilities, she helped build the firm’s infrastructure, portfolio management strategy, thought leadership materials, and culture.
Danyelle has had the privilege to work and live in 24 countries, where she has learned the importance of adaptability and connection, and gained perspective on how our intentions, capital, and relationships can have far-reaching impact. This is why she is working to connect worlds for the benefit of humanity.
